It is with great sadness to announce the passing of the great Eddie Bert.He was a friend, teacher, mentor and father figure.
My thoughts, prayers and condolences are with his family. The entire jazz community has suffered a great loss of one of it's kindest and most humble legends.
Rest in peace Eddie.
